KALI YUGA is an amazing story. The characters make the story an epic. Every God and Demon has their own folklore with a colorful legend/mythology. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that their essence remains intact within the flow of the adventure. In Indian mythology, even the Darkness has lessons to teach. KALI YUGA is the epitomy of the epic pursuit of balance.

INDRA - the Thunder God

Picture

Indra is the ORIGINAL thunder god. In KALI YUGA, he is Amay Singh's mentor and protector.

His primary weapon is the Vajra; a short metal weapon that wields thunderbolts. He is also well versed in astral projections and has a nasty habit of drinking too much Soma (the nectar of the Gods).

His power is his weakness, as Indra must overcome the Dark forces in his quest to save humanity and Light.

GANESH - Lord of Beginnings & Obstacles

Ganesh is KALI YUGA's oracle. With his aid, and his harmonic lyrics, Amay Singh and Indra are able to teleport to parts of the world that need Light to survive.

His weapon is his insight. Ganesh loves his hut and needs very little to enjoy himself. Kroncha, his trusty mouse, gives him company and helps with transportation/teleportation.

Ganesh is a patron of the arts and sciences and the God of intellect and wisdom.  His elephant head was given to him by Shiva, although the exact story is currently a mystery (not for long...)

KALI - Goddess of Time & Death

Picture

Kali is the untouchable consort of Shiva. She embodies death, lust and annihilation. In KALI YUGA, she is the driving force behind the end of the world as we know it.

She has four arms representing the four directions; one hand holds a sword, the power of destruction; another a severed head to show the living their destiny; a third is an attitude to remove fear; and the fourth bestows bliss.

Parvati - Goddess of Love, Devotion & Power

In KALI YUGA, Parvati is the daughter of Daksha; the most powerful CEO on Earth (and the worst kind of demon the planet has ever witnessed).

Her devotion is uncanny. Her weapon is Love, and it is what gives her an immense Power, or in Vedic terms; Shakti.

Parvati may appear to be helpless, but her strength is what binds Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva together in harmony. She is LOVE.

NAGAS - Serpents that live amongst us

Picture

Nagas are reptilian creatures that are feared and lauded. They are serpentile, but can take human features. They are everywhere; teachers, politicians, entertainers and even law enforcement.

Their love of the Underworld, environment and the Earth is unmistakable. In the KALI YUGA, they are under Shiva's command and have an important role to play in the Earth's destiny.

Some famous Nagas include Kadru, Vasuki and Ulupi.

HANUMAN - the Gods' Greatest Student

Hanuman has a special place in KALI YUGA. Traditional Indian mythology places him a Monkey God. In KALI YUGA, he begins his career as a prominent and noteworthy nanotechnology scientist with Daksha's Research & Development program.

His confidence in his work and the consequences it entails forces Hanuman to question himself. He unwittingly falls in love with a goddess, Saraswati, and follows his heart.

He decides he will join the battle between Gods & Demons by integrating with the very technology he developed. His brilliance, courage and loyalty shapes the outcome of KALI YUGA.

RAVAN - the Demon with the Knowledge of War

Picture
Ravan is the villain in Indian mythology that terrorized Ram and procured the largest island in India.  He is a scholar that learned the ways of war and magic to conquer his enemies.

In KALI YUGA, he is Daksha's right hand demon and stalks the forces of Light. His presence is fierce has he incorporates the top 10 fighting styles through history as he can divide himself into 10 fragments of consciousness.
